Styling the Search Box

Modifying the look and feel of the Search Box.

In addition to moving the Confluence Search Box, the Theme Designer offers many options for changing the look and feel.

In addition to Placement, described in Moving the Search Box, there are the following design options:

  • Size
  • Background
  • Border, Field Size
  • Field Text
  • Field Background
  • Field Border
  • Dropdown Results

Navigate to the Search Box Design controls:

Theme Designer → HTML Structure →  Canvas → Header Layer → Search Box → Size (etc...)

Expand each setting to explore options for design.

If using:
