Brikit Targeted Search filters are essentially Confluence labels with a few important enhancements:

  • Filters can have a "human-friendly" name (e.g., Human Resources, Policies) for the labels they represent (e.g., hr, policy_docs), which can make them easier to recognize and work with;
  • Filters are necessarily organized into groups, lending to the creation and maintenance of a coherent taxonomy for your site; and
  • They appear and behave, per their name, as filters by which users can narrow their Targeted Search results (as long as the filter groups to which they belong are visible in the current environment).
