A general overview of what Brikit Theme Press does.

Atlassian Confluence is a powerful knowledge management tool where you create, organize and discuss work with your team. But, it has one little problem: it isn't very pretty. The Default Theme that comes with out-of-the-box Confluence is highly functional, but not very aesthetic. And it matters! Research shows that visually consistent and well-branded sites are more engaging for users–and that translates directly to more consistent use and more productivity. Sites that aren't comfortable and inviting don't get contributed to or used as consistently.

So, along comes the Brikit Theme Press app. You assign Theme Press as your Confluence theme, and then you can manage multiple themes through the app. You can customize and modify themes to match your organization or departmental needs. Theme Press sits right on top of your Confluence and manages the display of each page as it is built, based on your pre-determined design decisions, creating consistent and visually appealing pages.

Once you're using Theme Press to manage your themes, a multitude of options are opened up. External websites are more consistently branded and controlled. Internal websites become friendlier and more engaging to users.

  • Create different layouts to display your content most effectively
  • Manage color palettes and fonts to match your visual identity
  • Change out logos to control your brand
  • Customize menus to provide effective navigation
  • Use expandability to make pages more accessible but still rich with content
  • Theme Press macros agragate and display site content to maximize visibility
