Confluence Header
Page header with links for site navigation and administration, page creation, and profile management
The Confluence header is the menu area that spans across the top of a Confluence page.
This menu allows users to:
- Navigate to the site home page;
- Explore the space directory;
- Search via the Confluence search box;
- Access help content; and
- Log into the site.
Authenticated users who have been granted permissions can also:
- Explore the people directory;
- Create a new page;
- Access the Confluence Administration menu;
- View notifications; and
- Manage profile settings.

The Confluence Header is not the same thing as the Theme Press Header .
This header provides access to Confluence tools and features and spans the entire width of the browser.
The Theme Press Header is part of a themed page's architecture and is located beneath the Confluence Page Tools menu.
