Installing Targeted Search through the Universal Plugin Manager

Install Targeted Search

Follow the installation steps on Installing and Uninstalling Apps
- (For step 4, type Theme Press Targeted Search in the app search box)

Configure Theme Press

From the same screen, select Configure
Click the Install button
Wait for the process to complete
Click the Start Tour button for a virtual walk-through of the demo space

Apply Theme Press site wide or only to specific spaces

Change the Confluence Default Theme to apply Theme Press across all spaces

Toggle Rich Link Results

By default, Rich Link type results are enabled when Targeted Search is installed.

To disable them, navigate to Targeted Search administration:

Confluence Administration → Targeted Search → Search Filters

click the Link Icon, second from the left, in the upper right of the page

Tip
Rich Link results were introduced in Targeted Search v. 1.2

Select Default Theme as the Current Theme to only apply Theme Press to specific spaces
