Brikit page blueprints Page Blueprints are a type of blueprint Blueprint from which users can create new pages whose title naming conventions, labels, and contents, including substitution fields, will be consistent with those of the original source page. It may be helpful for blueprint authors to think of each page blueprint as consisting of two main components: The source page and its contents, which is copied when a new page is generated from the blueprint; andDefinition and configuration information for that blueprint as defined in the JSON file. This includes whether a source page's children shall be included in the blueprintstamp out standardized copies. The Blueprint is your archetype page; it is the source and form of how you want pages made from it to look and feel. Page Blueprints are particularly powerful when using substitution fields, allowing the pages made from this Blueprint to be pre-populated with unique content. Page Blueprints reduce duplication and facilitate the reuse of content structures, making them a critical tool for quickly creating common pages like Meeting Notes, Employee Profiles, Policy pages — virtually any page that has a standardized style and structure. |
