Brikit space blueprints Space Blueprints are a type of blueprint from which users can create new spaces whose page trees, naming conventions, labels, permission schemes, and substitution fields will be consistent with those of the original source space. It may be helpful for blueprint authors to think of each space blueprint as consisting of two main components: The source space, including all pages contained therein, that will be copied whenever a new space is generated from the blueprint; andof Blueprint whereby an entire space is used as the standardized form, and from which new spaces can be easily stamped out. The Space Blueprint is the archetype for the look and feel of all the subsequent spaces that are to be created from this Blueprint. This also includes any pages within the Space Blueprint, for these are copied into the stamped out spaces as well. Space Blueprints are particularly powerful when using substitution fields on its child pages. Substitution fields enable the stamped out space to be pre-populated with unique content. This means that you can rapidly spin up a Team Space, for example, and pre-populate the space name and any pages with a particular team's name Definition and configuration information for that blueprint, as defined in the JSON file. |
