Confluence macros are pre-built blocks of code that you can add to pages to accomplish certain tasks. Macros can: - Aggregate and display content from other areas of your site;
- Surface information such as page metadata, user info, etc.;
- Provide different display options for content and data;
- Render links and other calls to action; and more.
