Monitoring Page Rendering Performance

Tracking the time it takes for pages to load.

Enabling this feature allows you to track page performance via performance logging.

Access the hidden Admin UI

Your Confluence Base URL/admin/darkfeatures.action

Enable the dark feature com.brikit.themepress.profiling

Site Dark Features section

Enable DEBUG logging for com.brikit.themepress.profiling 

Confluence General Configuration → Administration → Logging and Profiling

TO DISABLE:

  1. Access the hidden Admin UI Your Confluence Base URL/admin/darkfeatures.action

  2. Click "remove" for com.brikit.themepress.profiling

  • Requires Confluence Administrator permission

  • Enabling Page Rendering will create a large number of log entries. Use only for test environments, or during low-usage periods in production environments (such as nights or weekends).

If using:

  1. Replace me with something to note about this how-to entry that falls outside the scope of all other sections; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the next visible/non-collapsed block above this one to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
