A special alpha-numeric code automatically added to page titles according to a pre-defined sequence.

With Brikit Content Flow, space administrators may set a code that will be automatically added as a prefix to page titles. For example, if all of your policies have an official code like POL-1 (where policies continue in a numbered sequence like POL-2, POL-3...and so on), then you can continue using this same scheme in Confluence with Document IDs. Just create the Document ID pattern and then with every new page that is created in that space, the next number in the pattern will be applied to the page title.

Content Flow does not actually alter the page title in the Confluence database, meaning codes can be updated or removed as needed without fundamentally changing the content. For additional display opportunities, Document IDs work seamlessly with Theme Press, our Confluence theming app. With Theme Press, you can display and sort page trees by Document ID.

If using:

  1. Replace me with something to note about this concept that falls outside the scope of the Definition section; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the Definition block above to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
