A Confluence-administration interface for managing apps.

The Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) is a special interface built into Confluence where you can install, uninstall, enable, disable, and update apps. Only System Administrators can access the Universal Plugin Manager page.

To visit the Universal Plugin Manager, click the gear icon  in the Confluence Administration Menu and select "Manage apps" (or, in previous versions, "Add-ons") from the drop-down list.

Or, add the following postfix to your URL:

<your Confluence base URL>/plugins/servlet/upm

For example (on a locally-running Confluence instance), the full URL is:

http://localhost:8090/plugins/servlet/upm

In the Universal Plugin Manager interface, you can find a list of User-installed apps (e.g. your Brikit apps will appear here). Within each installed app in the list, you have the option to enable, disable, update, or uninstall the app. You can also search, download, and upload apps directly from the Universal Plugin Manager page.

If using:

  1. Replace me with something to note about this concept that falls outside the scope of the Definition section; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the Definition block above to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
