A special label used to designate the condition or position of the page, either in or out of a workflow.

In Brikit Content Flow, a page status is a special kind of Confluence label that is used to describe the state of the page. Out-of-the-box Confluence uses "Draft" and "Published" to differentiate content states on a page, but these rough designations don't often correspond neatly to a typical organization's publishing process. Moreover, the Confluence states are not applied as labels, making it hard to identify which pages are in which states.

By contrast, with a Page Status, you create and manage the states that makes sense to your processes. These might include more meaningful states like "Editing" and "In Review". When setting a Page Status, a label is also applied to the page. This label can be used with macros to retrieve pages of a particular status, and help to administer publishing processes. Additionally, the Page Status is used to demarcate the steps of a Content Flow workflow

  1. Replace me with something to note about this concept that falls outside the scope of the Definition section; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the Definition block above to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
