Install Confluence
If you aren't already running Atlassian Confluence, you will need to download and install the product
Enable Theme Press
Navigate to the Confluence Administration Gear Icon (top right)
Select Add-ons
Select Find New Add-ons
Type Brikit Theme Press
Select Free Trial
Configure Theme Press
From the same screen, select Configure
Click the Install button
Wait for the process to complete
Click the Start Tour button for a virtual walk-through of the demo space
Setting Theme Press as Default Theme
Theme Press be applied as a Default Site Theme or a Default Space Theme.
A. Setting Theme Press as a Space Theme
From a page within the Space where you'd like to enable the Theme, click the "." key
This brings up the Theme Designer. Click the Architect tab
Click on Space Theme and select Use Space Theme
Click the and select a theme under Available Themes
This will then apply the selected Theme to the Space
B. Setting Theme Press as a Site Theme
From the Confluence Administration Gear Icon (upper right), select General Configuration
Scroll to the Look and Feel section and select Themes
Select Brikit Theme Press
Click Confirm
If you don't see the 'Architect' tab when you open the Theme Designer, it means your permissions are not set properly. Contact your Confluence Administrator to have this corrected.
If using:
Replace me with something to note about this how-to entry that falls outside the scope of all other sections; and
Add the tight-bottom class to the next visible/non-collapsed block above this one to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
Turning Theme Press on as the Default Space Theme or Default Site Theme should be performed in your Confluence development environment (or a space with restricted view and edit permissions). Themes should be not applied directly in production, but instead, should be applied in development (to allow for learning, testing and ease of navigation).
