Predefined labels for identifying, organizing, and filtering site content.

Brikit Targeted Search filters are essentially Confluence labels with a few important enhancements:

  • Filters can have a "human-friendly" name (e.g., Human Resources, Policies) for the labels they represent (e.g., hr, policy_docs), which can make them easier to recognize and work with;
  • Filters are necessarily organized into groups, lending to the creation and maintenance of a coherent taxonomy for your site; and
  • They appear and behave, per their name, as filters by which users can narrow their Targeted Search results (as long as the filter groups to which they belong are visible in the current environment).
  • Filters can be promoted so that they show up at the top of lists, such as in the Search Panel.

Replace me with something to note about this concept that falls outside the scope of the Definition section.
