The page metadata that Confluence can display includes:

  • The restricted/unrestricted status of the page
    • Displayed as a locked/unlocked icon
    • Rollover tip will indicate restricted or unrestricted
  • Whether there are attachments to the page
    • Displayed as a paper clip icon
    • Rollover tip will indicate number of attachments

The page metadata is a page element that can be controlled in the layout.

It can be hidden, displayed with the page title, or displayed with the breadcrumbs.

If using:

  1. Replace me with something to note about this concept that falls outside the scope of the Definition section; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the Definition block above to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
