Viewing and changing specification information in the Blueprint Definition JSON File

Replace me with a more complete explanation of what this how-to accomplishes.

To access/download the existing file:

Navigate to the Blueprint Definitions page and click the "Download Blueprints" icon [[image of Download Blueprints icon]] near the top of the screen.

Open blueprint-defintions.json in a source editor of your choice to view and edit.

Before making changes to this file, we recommend making a copy of the version you downloaded and setting that aside, just in case you need to revert back to the previous configuration.

To submit/upload a new version of the file:

Once you've made your changes, you may upload your new version of the JSON file via on the "Upload Blueprints" icon [[image of Upload Blueprints icon]] near the top of the Blueprint Definitions page.

A modal window will appear with a message about how the existing JSON file will be overwritten by your new one. Tick the checkbox and click OK to proceed.

If using:

  1. Replace me with something to note about this how-to entry that falls outside the scope of all other sections; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the Steps block above to narrow the gap between the two blocks.

  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the next visible/non-collapsed block above this one to narrow the gap between the two blocks.

The file does not have to be named "blueprint-definitions.json" when you upload it. It will, however, always download as "blueprint-definitions.json".
