Identifiers for macros in Confluence markup

Macro keys are text strings that represent individual macros in 

Confluence markup.

 

For example, the key for the 

Blog Posts macro is

blog-posts

.

Advanced users may want to reference macro keys when using wiki markup or when viewing or editing the 

storage format of a page.

 

Macro keys are not required for normal use of Confluence or Brikit macros.

If using:

  1. Replace me with something to note about this concept that falls outside the scope of the Definition section; and
  2. Add the tight-bottom class to the Definition block above to narrow the gap between the two blocks.
