Identify an existing theme that would be a good candidate to use as a starting point for your new theme

Any existing theme in your site may be copied for this purpose. This includes any custom themes that may have already been created for your site or any either of the three two built-in themes that come pre-installed with Brikit Theme Press (Indigo, Lumen, or WireframeVanilla and Splash).

If you already have an idea of what you would like your new theme to look like, we recommend copying an existing theme that most closely resembles what you have in mind.

Make a copy of that theme

Turn on the Theme Designer to find that theme and copy it:

HTML Wrap

Theme DesignerThemes section → Manage Themes → Click magnifying glass icon to open panel → Click the theme you want to copy in the Available Themes section → Click Copy Theme button

Name your new theme and then modify and apply it as you wish

Once you give your new theme a name, click OK. You'll be able to make changes to it and start applying it to specific spaces or your entire site.
