Brikit Theme Press - Override Layout (0:43)

Override the Site Architect Page

The theme is the main force that defines the look & feel of a Confluence site or individual space.

The THEME is the main force that defines the look and feel of a Confluence site.

The word THEME is used by Atlassian to define applying a theming add-on, like Theme Press. Additionally, Brikit uses the word THEME to define the overall branded design applied within the Theme Press environment.

When you install the Theme Press add-on, your default theme (Lumen) is automatically installed as well. Lumen can't be modified, but you can COPY Lumen and then modify it as you wish to create a very customized look and feel for your entire site. You can also apply themes to a specific space.

When the administrator installs Theme Press, they will be responsible for assigning editing privileges to the appropriate team members to work on customizing themes. Designers may also need to apply those themes to specific spaces in the site, and won't be able to do so if they don't have the the necessary permissions.

At the bottom of each tab in the Designer is the Access accordion. From here, you determine who can see the current tab. In order to see this accordion, you must be a space or Confluence administrator.
