Site administration is a primary responsibility of the Platform Administrator.
Installing Atlassian Confluence is the first step.
The next step, is installation of the Brikit Theme Press add-on and any other add-on products.
Then, the configuration and customization of the site can begin. In this stage, the administrator may wish to consult with the design team and other stakeholders on some of the decisions to be made.
Finally, the Platform Administrator can set up key permissions in Confluence.
Once the site is up-and-running, most of the administrator functions are related to maintenance (software update installation), upgrades (addition of new products and add-ons), backups, and managing permissions.
