Learn how to customize a Brikit Theme Press theme.

The theme defines the look and feel of your site, including the color of different components, and the location of logos. If the default theme isn't right for you, it's easy to create a new theme.

A theme defines the look and feel of your site, including the color of different components, and the location of logos. You can copy and modify the default theme and make it your own.

You'll probably want to modify the default look to match your organization's needs.

Users aren't able to modify the built-in (Lumen) theme. Instead, you need to make a copy of a theme, and then modify that copy to create your own customized theme.

To copy a theme, complete the following procedures.

  1. Open the Theme tab the Theme Designer
  2. In the Themes section, expand the Manage Themes accordion
  3. Click the magnifying glass to the right of the Installed Themes setting
  4. Select a theme and click the copy button ()
  5. Enter a New Theme Name and click OK
